Phone Calls and Email

Patients may request information or advice by telephoning the practice nurse.   Doctors will accept urgent calls only during consultations, and may otherwise return your call when possible. However, providing services without a consultation is not considered good medical practice. If a doctor’s services are required, we ask that an appointment be made.

Doctors at Magill Family Practice are unable to communicate regarding patient matters via email due to Privacy Act regulations. Doctors do use highly secure encrypted electronic communication with other medical specialists, which ensures protection and confidentiality of your information.
