Dr Simone Ridge is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. This specialist qualification recognises her ability to manage all health needs of all individuals and families in the primary care setting. In particular, Dr Ridge has undertaken further training and specialises in:

  • comprehensive primary care of children and adolescents
  • contraception
  • women’s health
  • fertility, infertility and pregnancy planning
  • prenatal and postnatal care
  • sexual health for all individuals
  • minor procedures including Implanon insertion, skin excisions, biopsy and iron infusions
  • PrEP

Dr Ridge has completed the FPAA National Certificate of Sexual and Reproductive Health. She is a member of the Adelaide Pelvic Pain Network and aims to support patients from all demographics dealing with complex and chronic pelvic pain in a caring and evidence-based way.

Dr Ridge is also an accredited practitioner in Neuroprotective Developmental Care (aka Possums for Mothers and Babies) and incorporates these principles to optimally support infants and parents in the areas of feed, sleep and settling, based on each family’s unique situation.
