Originally from Port Dickson, Malaysia, Dr Sareetaa Vijayan graduated from Monash University in 2010. She has recently moved to South Australia, having worked in a mix of urban and rural hospitals and general practices in Melbourne, Geelong and Hamilton, Victoria over the past 9 years.
Sareetaa enjoys all aspects of general practice, but has particular interests in preventative medicine, oncology, geriatric medicine, palliative care, sexual and reproductive health, women’s health, men’s health as well as procedural work including minor surgery. Outside of work, Sareetaa prioritises an active lifestyle and thrives on promoting healthy living in the community. Sareetaa is a Registered Yoga Teacher with the International Yoga Alliance, enjoys hiking, travelling and spending time with friends and family.
