Dr Sareetaa Vijayan

Dr. Sareetaa brings extensive experience from both urban and rural Australia and a passion for comprehensive patient care. She has a special interest in preventive medicine, chronic disease management, care of the elderly, palliative care as well as a personal dedication to guiding individuals through the evolving health challenges that arise at every decade & stage of life.

Additionally she is also skilled in minor procedures including:

• Implanon insertion and removal
• Skin lesions
• Iron infusions

Outside of work, Sareetaa has recently returned to Australia after a short period of living in Switzerland and is taking steps to make Adelaide her permanent home, for all this lovely city has to offer.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (Monash University)

Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP)

Clinical Diploma in Palliative Medicine
